L'ONG SAHA BODY, strong in the field experiences accumulated over several years by its members, is part of a commitment supported by actions.
We pursue our mission with constancy and determination, by placing the achievement of objectives at the heart of our actions : balanced Sustainable Development, anchored in local realities and based on the three inseparable pillars of the Environment, Economy and Social.
The year 2025 marked a phase of critical rereading and adjustment of the activities carried out, aimed at identifying new levers of action, to optimize the impact of existing projects and to align interventions more closely with the vision carried by SAHA TELO
So, always guided by the same values, we continue our approach with a logic of continuous improvement, essential to strengthen the effectiveness of sustainable development projects and ensure the sustainability of our actions to improve the living conditions of village communities, by focusing on empowerment, capacity building and active participation of local populations. Education, awareness and support are central levers of this approach.
Among the actions carried out on an ongoing basis are raising awareness among young people and students in schools and during conferences.. SAHA TELO also intervenes in the promotion of responsible and sustainable tourism in order to promote environmentally friendly tourist products., local cultures and generators of equitable economic benefits.
SAHA TELO also actively participates in forums, workshops and conferences dedicated to environmental preservation, sustainable initiatives and the inclusive economy.
On the ground, projects result in training and capacity building for rural communities, as well as through food empowerment projects, contributing to food security and local resilience. SAHA TELO also continues its projects to support the education of children in remote areas, while strengthening protective actions, education and reintegration of excluded or vulnerable children.
Environmental commitment remains a fundamental pillar of SAHA TELO’s actions, with participation in reforestation activities, the creation of community nurseries and the implementation of environmental education programs.
SAHA TELO encourages citizen mobilization through community actions such as cleaning public spaces, construction and renovation of classrooms, the rehabilitation of village roads or the organization of collective meals in public schools. Training and supporting women in the development of artisanal know-how also contributes to economic empowerment and the promotion of sustainable local initiatives..
So, SAHA TELO affirms its desire to build, step by step, an inclusive sustainable development model in Madagascar, based on community participation, environmental protection and the creation of equitable economic value.
